Xmarks is a free add-on for your browser that synchronizes and backs up your bookmarks across multiple computers and more. Xmarks helps you find the best sites on the web based on what millions of people are bookmarking.
I'm a long time user of Xmarks (formerly known as FoxMarks) Firefox extension, using it for keeping in sync my bookmarks between Firefox and Flock on the MacBook, and then on my recovered PowerBook, my Acer notebook, on my parent's pc, at work.
So, when they've released a version for Apple' Safari and Microsoft IE I couldn't be more happy since I usually go in a round robin mode between 'workstations' and browsers all the time ;-)
Only I don't "trust enough" any online service to keep also my passwords on their servers, so I still do have to memorize well each of them :-P

After the OS X itself, Growl is one of the principal piece of software that makes my "apple experience" worth of it, and makes me push it towards my friends anb colleagues!
